ENIKŐ FRENYÓ

I have a God-given talent for writing and express my feelings and thoughts in rhyme. I have been writing children's books since before my daughter was born, but since she has become the apple of our family's eye, she inspires me to write new stories.

MY ORIGIN

I grew up in Budapest, Hungary, with my parents, six older sisters, and a nice nanny. From a very early age I wrote short stories and poems. I also enjoyed telling stories and reciting poems in elementary school. When I was 7 years old, I played with an old tape recorder and made up plays. When I went to Ireland at the age of 24, I focused on my studies: I did a degree in childcare and then worked with children. Later, I did an acting course at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin and also studied creative writing at Kilroy's University. Since then I have had several opportunities to perform my poetry in front of audiences. I can proudly say that I am a member of the Irish Writers Centre. Ireland has given me so much. It has made me the person I always wanted to be. My tribute can be read in the book The Real Pearl titled "Ireland."

Faith: I BELIVE

I believe in a loving and good God. God is a father and a true friend. I also believe in God-given talents.

Life goal

I want to spread love. Love is the most important thing in life. Whatever we do, we must do it with love. When I do something I love, I practise self-love so that I can also give love.

Inspire others

I want to inspire people through poetry. My poems are educational, both for children and adults.

Never stop playing

I encourage everyone to play. Play can be any form of art, such as painting, coloring, creative writing, writing stories, and journaling. Play is about being in the now. Children know how to play and be in the present moment. We need to be like a child.
